As a result, the prices of cars have been raised by various automobile companies. In April alone, Kia sold about 19,019 cars in India. This has increased Kia’s market share in India.
A total of 19,019 cars were sold in the last one month, including the Celtos 7,506 cars, the Sonnet 5,404 cars, the Cairns 5,754 cars and the Carnival 355 cars.
“There is a huge demand for Kia cars. People are very supportive of us. We are constantly increasing our production to meet the demand. We are looking to enter the electric vehicle market in India with the EV6,” said Hardeep Singh Brar, Head of Sales and Marketing, Kia India. Bookings for the EV6 are set to begin on the 26th.
