Los Infernales Volleyball Prepares for national League Competition with Intensive Training

The Salta-based Los infernales Volleyball team is gearing up for the upcoming National League season,commencing in January and concluding in April,with rigorous pre-selection training led by head coach Marcos Milinkovic.The team is focused on building a competitive roster capable of challenging for a top position in the league.
The National Men’s Volleyball League will feature a 16-team format, divided into two zones and utilizing a round-robin schedule. Los Infernales Vóley will compete in Zone B, with a balanced home and away schedule of seven matches each.
Building a Competitive Roster
Coach Milinkovic is currently evaluating a pool of players from Salta city, surrounding areas, and other provinces at the Delmi Microstadium. “We are very happy about the call and together with the coaching staff we will evaluate players and put together the team that will compete in a tough tournament, such as the National League,” Milinkovic stated.
The coaching staff is actively assessing both existing players and potential additions to the team. The primary objective is to assemble a squad that can qualify among the top four teams in their zone. According to the coach, the team has a strong base of talent, with plans to bolster it further.
Government and Agency Support
The team’s preparations are being supported by the Government of Salta and the Salta Sports Provincial Agency. This support extends beyond financial assistance to include motivational talks designed to foster discipline and competitive spirit among the players.
A senior official from the Salta Sports Provincial Agency highlighted Milinkovic’s dedication to reaching athletes throughout the province, emphasizing the importance of promoting sport in all corners of Salta, as directed by Governor Sáenz. The agency’s commitment reflects a broader strategy to develop athletic talent and opportunities across the region.

Present at recent training sessions were Claudia Vásquez, vice president of the Agency; Darío Ocampo, president of the Los Infernales Volleyball subcommittee; Fernando ulloa, assistant coach; and Ignacio Bonini, the team’s physical trainer, among others.
