A senior official emphasized the deep connection between the two countries, stating, “There are no other two nations that are so close.” This sentiment was echoed during a recent press conference where the identical foundations of statehood were highlighted as a key element of the relationship. The discussion also touched upon the sensitive topic of Beneš decrees, a point of contention that remains relevant to both nations.
