Kraft Heinz is transferring its common stock listing from Nasdaq to the New York Stock Exchange, with trading expected to begin on September 14, 2026. Simultaneously, AMG Critical Materials N.V. announced plans for a secondary Frankfurt Stock Exchange listing as both companies reshape their public market strategies.
Kraft Heinz Shifts Listing to the New York Stock Exchange
The Kraft Heinz Company announced that it will transfer the listing of its common stock from Nasdaq to the New York Stock Exchange. The company expects its shares to begin trading on the NYSE under its existing ticker symbol, KHC. The move places one of the world’s largest food and beverage companies alongside an established community of industrial peers.
Steve Cahillane, CEO of Kraft Heinz, stated that their move to the New York Stock Exchange marked an exciting milestone in Kraft Heinz’s transformation, and expressed belief that the NYSE was a natural home for Kraft Heinz as they entered their next chapter, reflecting the strength of their iconic portfolio, their global scale, and their focus on creating long-term shareholder value.
Scale and Portfolio Scope Driving the NYSE Move
The transition brings approximately $25 billion in net sales from the 2025 fiscal year onto the NYSE trading floor. Operating across more than 40 countries, the company maintains a recognizable portfolio spanning everyday pantry staples and household brands.

Lynn Martin, President, NYSE Group, stated that they were proud to welcome Kraft Heinz to the NYSE, where it joined their community of iconic American brands and industry leaders. She added that Kraft Heinz shared their commitment to innovation with its own unique mission to deliver high-quality, delicious and affordable foods to people around the world, and noted that they looked forward to supporting the company as it continued to grow its global investor base and fulfill its promise to consumers everywhere.
The consumer brands backing this global scale include Heinz, Kraft, Philadelphia, Primal Kitchen, and Lunchables.
AMG Critical Materials Expands in European Markets
While Kraft Heinz consolidates its primary trading footprint in New York, AMG Critical Materials N.V. is pursuing a broader European investor base through a secondary listing. The company plans to apply for a listing of its shares on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, with the listing expected to become effective in the course of 2026.
AMG confirmed that the Frankfurt addition will complement its primary listing on Euronext Amsterdam, the Netherlands stock exchange on which the Company has been publicly listed since 2007, and Euronext Amsterdam will continue to be AMG’s primary listing. The firm does not plan to issue or offer any new shares in connection with the secondary listing in Frankfurt. In connection with the secondary listing, AMG will make an information document available pursuant to Article 1(5)(ba) of Regulation (EU) 2017/1129 (the Prospectus Regulation).
Dr. Heinz Schimmelbusch, Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of AMG, stated that with that secondary listing, they would significantly expand AMG’s investor base in Europe and enhance the liquidity and visibility of their shares.
Industrial Roots and Strategic Footprint in Germany
The decision to list in Frankfurt leverages AMG’s deep-seated industrial and technological heritage in Germany, where the company has operated for more than a century. A significant portion of the company’s global workforce is located in Germany, and the country is home to nine of its production sites and several of its most important businesses and technology centers.

- Titanium alloys business anchored in Nuremberg
- Advanced vacuum furnace technologies business in Hanau
- Next-generation critical materials and technologies at its lithium research lab in Hoechst
- A battery-grade lithium hydroxide plant located in Bitterfeld
- AURA, its recently purchased catalyst recycling business in Saxony Anhalt
Through these domestic facilities and the upcoming Frankfurt listing, management aims to re-introduce itself to the German investment community while maintaining its mission to provide critical materials and related process technologies to advance a less carbon-intensive world, supported by approximately 3,500 employees globally.
