The EU is making a final attempt to try and save the nuclear deal with Iran and “break through” the deadlock caused by Tehran’s demand from Washington to remove the Revolutionary Guards from the list of terrorist organizations, the Financial Times reported today (Saturday).

Head of EU Foreign Policy, Joseph BurrellSaid in an interview with the newspaper that he is looking for an “intermediate way” to end the deadlock he has sabotaged in the achievements achieved so far in order to sign the new agreement.

According to Burrell, head of EU negotiations, Enrique Teacher, Was supposed to come to Tehran to advance the talks, but Iran objected. He further noted that this is the “last ball” on the way to advancing the agreement.

Burrell further added that there is a scenario whereby Revolutionary Guards oil will be removed but will remain in other parts of the organization. Recall that another option has already been proposed, under which the United States will remove the Revolutionary Guards from the list of terrorist organizations, but will leave the Quds Force, the unit responsible for Operations of the Revolutionary Guards operations outside Iran.
