(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 22 – The Toyota N.7 driven by the British Mike Conway, the Japanese Kamui Kobayashi and the Argentine José Maria Lopez won the 89th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This is the fourth consecutive victory for the Japanese brand in the classic test on the Sarthe circuit, the first in the new Hypercar class. Car # 7 completed 370 laps in 24 hours, equivalent to over five thousand kilometers. Second place for the Toyota No.8 of Sebastien Buemi, Kazuki Nakajima and Brendon Hartley – a crew that had dominated the three previous editions – and third for the Alpine of the trio Nicolas Lapierre, Matthieu Vaxiviere and André Negrao.
