PlayStation Plus January 2026 Lineup: Need for Speed, Disney Epic Mickey, and Core Keeper Lead the Charge
A new year of gaming begins with a compelling selection of titles for PlayStation Plus members. Sony has announced that starting January 6, 2026, subscribers will gain access to Need for Speed Unbound, Disney epic Mickey: Rebrushed, and Core Keeper, available through February 2, 2026.
PlayStation plus members are also reminded that they have until January 5, 2026, to claim December’s offerings, which include Lego Horizon Adventures, Killing floor 3, The Outlast Trials, Synduality Echo of Ada, and Neon White.
Leading the January lineup is Need for Speed Unbound, originally released in 2022 for the PlayStation 5. The game offers both single-player and multiplayer campaigns, challenging players to “race against time, outsmart the cops, and take on weekly qualifiers to reach The Grand, lakeshore’s ultimate street racing challenge.” According to one reviewer, the title “hasn’t strayed very far from the fundamentals of 2019’s Heat, but its bold new animated style impresses.”
Next up is Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, arriving on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This remake of the 2010 Nintendo Wii title immerses players in the role of Mickey Mouse, venturing into the Wasteland – a realm populated by forgotten Disney characters. Players will even encounter Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney’s first major character creation. A preview of the game noted that Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed “looks and, perhaps most importantly, feels like a 2024 game.”
Rounding out the selection is Core Keeper, a 1-8 player mining sandbox adventure available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Players can “harvest relics and resources, craft advanced tools, build your base, and explore a dynamically evolving world waiting to be unearthed.” The game is set to receive a significant “Void & Voltage Update” on January 28, 2026, introducing a new biome called Breaker’s Reach, a new boss named S.A.H.A.B.A.R., and an Advanced Automation table, among other additions.
