As the search progressed, a police helicopter was observed conducting repeated flights between the East Point coastline and areas as far inland as Bagot Road.Concurrently, police vehicles were deployed to scrubland located behind the Minmarama Aboriginal community. A police spokesperson confirmed the extensive deployment of resources, stating, “There is a high presence of police with members from the Search and Rescue Section, Territory mounted Unit, Cultural Reform and General Duties within the vicinity.”
