A contestant on the popular game show ‘The Floor’ momentarily sidelined competition to express his decades-long admiration for singer Chenoa.

  • David, a contestant on ‘The Floor,’ publicly declared himself a devoted fan of Chenoa.
  • He presented the singer with a photograph from an early ‘Operación Triunfo’ signing event.
  • David showcased a personal collection of Chenoa memorabilia, including concert dates and postcards.
  • Chenoa responded with visible emotion and playfully acknowledged his dedication, calling him a “chenoísta.”

Madrid – A heartwarming exchange unfolded on the set of The Floor, the game show hosted by Chenoa on La 1, when contestant David momentarily paused the competition to profess his unwavering fandom. The moment began as David stepped forward, immediately stating, “I am a big fan,” prompting a gracious response from Chenoa: “David, thank you very much.”

David explained that his admiration stemmed from the early days of “Operación Triunfo,” and he wanted to demonstrate his long-held appreciation with a special keepsake. “When ‘Operación Triunfo’ started, I was a superfan, and I brought a photo I took with you at one of the first signing events,” he shared, presenting the cherished image. Chenoa reacted with a spontaneous, “¡Precioso!” (precious!).

The contestant went above and beyond, revealing his extensive personal archive dedicated to the singer. “Look, the library with the postcards, your concert dates…,” he proudly displayed, as Chenoa absorbed the scene. “Well then, you are directly a ‘chenoísta’,” the presenter deduced with a laugh.

David immediately confirmed her assessment. “Chenoísta all the time,” he replied, before sharing a motto he’s lived by for years: “Smart people are ‘chenoístas.’” Chenoa playfully agreed, responding, “Well, of course, of course,” visibly touched by the gesture.

The exchange concluded with a heartfelt expression of gratitude from Chenoa. “Thank you, David. You are very loved,” she said, as the audience and fellow contestants enthusiastically chanted, “¡Qué bonito, qué bonito!” (How beautiful, how beautiful!). David ultimately lost his match against Claudia, but had already won over the audience with his sincere display of admiration.

What defines a dedicated fan? David’s actions demonstrate a level of fandom that extends beyond casual enjoyment, encompassing a personal collection and a long-held admiration for an artist.
