Created by Segel, Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein, the series centers on Jimmy Laird, a therapist grappling with grief who decides to take a more active role in the lives of his patients.
Shrinking follows a grieving therapist who boldly breaks the rules and tells his clients exactly what’s on his mind, ignoring professional training and ethical boundaries. This unconventional approach leads to significant and often chaotic changes in the lives of those he treats—and his own.
Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, Christa Miller and Ted McGinley also feature in the cast. Jeff Daniels and Michael J. Fox join the ensemble as newcomers for season three.
