The Bourroches gymnasium in Dijon was buzzing with energy this Sunday, February 8, as the League hosted the Futsal Regional Finals of Senior Associated Practices for both men and women. The tournament, designed for non-specific futsal clubs during the winter break, delivered a spectacle of skill and passion, fueled by a lively crowd.
A Sea of Supporters
The stands were packed with enthusiastic fans, particularly those backing teams from Vallée du Breuchin and Villars-sous-Dampjoux, creating a truly electric atmosphere. The tournament was organized under the supervision of Pierre-Etienne DEMILLIER.

Villars-sous-Dampjoux Triumphs in Men’s Final
The men’s finals kicked off at 10:15 a.m., with teams divided into two groups of four. SR Villars-sous-Dampjoux ultimately secured the championship title, showcasing a strong and cohesive team performance. After a scoreless regulation time, the Reds prevailed over Haute Lizaine Pays d’Héricourt in a dramatic penalty shootout. SC Besançon rounded out the podium, finishing in third place.

Mont-sous-Vaudrey Dominates Women’s Competition
The women’s tournament mirrored the men’s format, with eight teams competing in two groups before advancing to the crossover final stages. CCSVA Mont-sous-Vaudrey ultimately claimed the women’s championship, defeating FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, thanks in part to their goalkeeper, who was named the tournament’s best. Triangle d’Or Jura Foot secured third place.

The League extended its gratitude to the participating teams, players, staff, supporters, and volunteers—including Thierry NAPPEY and Hadi SALEH from the Futsal Development & Competitions New Practices Commission—as well as the employees and elected officials present, notably Jean-François GONDELLIER, Deputy President of the League, and Thierry WANIART, deputy treasurer.
