Mumbai: Senior wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik has been selected to play again for the Indian cricket team. He has been playing well for the Bangalore team in the current IPL season.
Dinesh Karthik has been playing international cricket for India since 2004. He has played in 26 Tests, 32 T20s and 94 ODIs so far. He last played in the 2019 ODI World Cup series. The semi-final against New Zealand in that series was the last international he played. He did not get a place in the team after that.

Dinesh Karthik tweeted about his re-entry in such an environment. “If you believe in yourself. Everything will come to you. Thank you for all your support and trust. The hard work will continue,” he tweeted. He is greeted by many today and former cricketers.
