Roborock Launches Saros 20 & F25 Series: Smarter Cleaning for Your Home

by Priyanka Patel

Roborock is expanding its footprint in the automated home cleaning market with the launch of its Saros 20 series of robot vacuums and the F25 line of vertical stick vacuums. Unveiled under the slogan “Engineered for freedom,” the new products aim to minimize user intervention in the cleaning process, offering features like self-emptying, automatic mop washing, and advanced obstacle avoidance. The company, already a dominant player in the robotic vacuum space, is signaling a broader ambition to integrate robotics into all aspects of home maintenance.

The flagship Saros 20 series represents a significant leap forward in Roborock’s robot vacuum technology. A key innovation is the StarSight 2.0 system, which replaces traditional LiDAR with a combination of a 3D ToF camera and an RGB camera for more precise navigation and object recognition. This allows the Saros 20 to navigate complex home layouts and avoid obstacles with greater efficiency. The series also features FlexiArm technology for the side brush and mop, ensuring consistent contact with the floor, and an AdaptiLift Chassis 3.0 capable of clearing obstacles up to 8.8 cm high. Roborock has already begun testing the Saros 20, with early reviews highlighting its advanced navigation capabilities. Gadget.ro’s review details the system’s performance.

Advanced Docking Options for the Saros 20

The Saros 20 offers flexibility in terms of docking station options. Beyond the standard self-emptying base with separate clean and dirty water tanks, Roborock is offering a version that can connect directly to a home’s water supply and drainage systems, eliminating the need for manual refilling, and emptying. Whether this advanced docking station will be available in all markets, including Romania, remains unconfirmed. A separate model, the Saros 20 Sonic, utilizes a VibraRise 5.0 system with a flat mop instead of rotating mops, vibrating the cleaning pad at high speed for enhanced scrubbing action. Availability of the Sonic model in local markets is also currently unknown.

F25 Series: Power and Convenience in Vertical Cleaning

Alongside the robot vacuums, Roborock unveiled the F25 series of vertical stick vacuums, designed to offer powerful cleaning performance and versatility. The F25 ACE Pro introduces JetFoaming technology, which creates a dense foam with up to 167 million microbubbles from just 1 ml of solution. This is designed to effectively dissolve dirt and neutralize odors without spreading them around. The F25 ACE Pro boasts a suction power of up to 25,000 Pa and features JawScrapers Anti-Tangle technology to prevent hair from wrapping around the brush roll, even long strands up to 50 cm in length. Additional features include automatic self-cleaning at temperatures up to 95°C, automatic drying, intelligent dirt detection, and a larger clean water tank.

A Modular Approach to Cleaning with the F25 ACE Combo

The Roborock F25 ACE Combo takes a multi-functional approach, combining wet and dry vacuuming, cordless stick vacuuming, and dedicated accessories for dust mite removal into a single device. Its modular design allows for quick adaptation to different cleaning scenarios. With a suction power of up to 20,000 Pa and the JawScrapers system, it effectively removes dirt and prevents hair tangles. Features like SlideTech 2.0 for maneuverability, FlatReach 2.0 for cleaning under low furniture, and automatic detergent dispensing based on dirt levels further enhance its convenience. For those seeking a comprehensive wet and dry cleaning solution, the F25 Ultra combines steam and hot water cleaning, making it effective against stubborn dirt and safe for sensitive surfaces like wood floors.

According to Ricky Ma, General Manager of Roborock Europe, the company’s focus is shifting towards complete automation and increased convenience for users. “We are moving beyond devices that assist with cleaning to systems that take over the entire process,” Ma stated during the launch event. This strategy extends beyond indoor cleaning; Roborock entered the robotic lawn mower market in Europe in September 2025 and launched these products in the US in January 2026, demonstrating a broader vision for integrating robotics into everyday life. Roborock concluded 2025 as the market leader in intelligent cleaning robots, holding a 17.7% market share globally.

In Romania, Roborock has been the top-selling brand in terms of volume since 2021. The company’s continued innovation suggests a commitment to maintaining its leadership position in the evolving home robotics market. Further details regarding pricing and specific availability dates for the Saros 20 and F25 series in Romania are expected in the coming weeks.
