Rogozin: Peresild passed the first exam for a flight to the ISS for the “five”

The head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin reported on the results of the first examination day for the new ISS prime and backup crews. The prime crew, which will go into orbit this fall, includes cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, film director Klim Shipenko and actress Yulia Peresild.

“The prime crew on the ISS Russian Segment simulator is rated 5.0,” Rogozin said on social media.

The backup crew, he said, scored 4.56 on the spacecraft simulator. Rogozin noted that the members of both teams “are generally great.”
