With the release of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series behind it, Samsung is shifting focus toward its next generation of non-folding flagships. The lineup introduces a brand-new model tier to sit between the standard devices and the top-tier Ultra. Capping off the portfolio is the NM4, which very likely refers to the Galaxy S27 Ultra.

Camera Hardware Overhauls on the Pro and Ultra Models

Photography changes form the core of the early hardware leaks. The Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra are reported to share a 50MP ultrawide camera powered by Sony’s IMX855 1/2.55-inch type sensor. This identical ultrawide hardware is also found on the recently introduced Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, signaling component sharing across Samsung’s high-end portfolio.

The base models will retain a 12MP ultrawide lens identical to that found on the Galaxy S26 and S26+.
