Region of Peel investigators from the Homicide Bureau arrested one individual and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two additional suspects in connection with a fatal shooting in Brampton. On Thursday, June 4, at approximately 7:07 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Sandalwood Parkway and Crown Victoria Drive. When officers arrived, they say they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The sequence of events began shortly after 7 p.m. on June 4. Peel Regional Police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Sandalwood Pkwy. and Crown Victoria Dr., east of Creditview Rd. In a news release, officials say officers first responded to reports of a shooting at around 7 p.m. on June 4 in the area of Sandalwood Parkway and Crown Victoria Drive.
First responders arrived to find a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as 38-year-old Jamal Edwards of Brampton, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Other reports identified the victim as 25-year-old Jamal Edwards, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said in a news release on Saturday that the pair were captured on video and should be considered armed and dangerous.
