What began as a routine defensive assignment in Arizona turned into a devastating medical setback for the Cincinnati Reds. Playing left field during an August game at Chase Field, Toglia suffered a hard landing while fully extending for a diving catch on a line drive off the bat of Geraldo Perdomo in the first inning.
