Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat has fired back at fellow The Traitors Season 2 contestant Shalini Passi following a dispute over the authenticity of a green outfit worn on the reality show. The disagreement began after a deleted scene was released by Prime Video, showing Mallika Sherawat stating that her green dress was a creation by Dolce & Gabbana.

Following the clip’s release, Shalini Passi questioned the claim while speaking with other female contestants on the show. According to Shalini Passi, she noticed the brand label while going over to adjust Mallika Sherawat‘s microphone and asserted that the garment was not authentic. Shalini Passi claimed she has worn designer apparel since she was 17 to 18 years old, including custom pieces, Versace couture, and Elie Saab dresses, and stated she could provide photographs to prove her assertions.

In response to the online chatter and criticism regarding her wardrobe, Mallika Sherawat posted a video on social media addressing the controversy.
