Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has unveiled an expanded portfolio of 10 motorcycles and scooters for the Indian market, according to a company announcement on July 24, 2026. The new lineup consists of seven all-new models and three refreshed models featuring new color options.
The expanded range covers various segments, including roadsters, adventure touring, cruising, and lifestyle-oriented riding. The portfolio also incorporates electric and flex-fuel mobility options alongside internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.
Multi-Pathway Approach and Localization
The new product rollout reflects a multi-pathway approach designed to address varying infrastructure readiness and diverse customer needs. Tsutsumu Otani, President & CEO of HMSI, stated that India is one of Honda’s most strategic global markets. He noted that the company is accelerating its Make-in-India for the World
commitment by improving local manufacturing and engineering capabilities.
According to Otani, this strategy allows Honda to bring global technologies to Indian customers while establishing India as an important export hub and manufacturing center. This shift comes as the Indian two-wheeler market moves away from being primarily utility-led toward more differentiated mobility choices.
Mutsuo Usui, Director of Sales & Marketing, added that current Indian customers seek products that complement their lifestyles in addition to their mobility requirements. While total cost of ownership, fuel efficiency, and affordability remain fundamental, HMSI is responding to a trend where riders seek products aligned with individual aspirations.
Model Details and Market Release
Among the unveiled products is the Honda ADV 160, described as a “City Adventure” scooter. For riders seeking an entry-level casual cruiser, the company introduced the Honda Rebel 300.
The company is also updating its modern classic portfolio with refreshed versions of the Honda CB350, CB350RS, and CB350C, all of which will receive new color options.
HMSI intends to introduce these products in a phased manner. The company stated that market availability, pricing, and detailed launch timelines for the individual models will be announced closer to their respective release dates.
