The coach of the Indian national team has complained to a female cyclist that she has behaved inappropriately.

The Indian team has gone to a training camp in Slovenia for the Asian Championships to be held in New Delhi from June 18 to 22. A complaint has been lodged against national team coach RK Sharma for allegedly behaving inappropriately towards a female player at a training camp.

Following Veerangana’s complaint, he was immediately brought to India for security. Committee members are investigating the victim. The Indian Cycling Federation and the Sports Development Authority of India have set up two separate committees to investigate the complaint. This matter will be given priority and will be resolved soon. In addition, the coach was nominated on the recommendation of the Indian Cycling Federation, according to the Sports Development Authority of India.

The Indian Cycling Federation and its officials said they would stand by the complainant.
