“Corona eruption in Phoenix before Game 7”

by time news

The Phoenix Suns were one of the big favorites for the NBA Championship, but were defeated 123-90 in the seventh game at home against Dallas and were eliminated in the second round. Today (Wednesday) the athletic revealed a major corona outbreak in the team, just before the historic defeat.

Six people, including one player diagnosed the day after the game, were identified with the virus. Additional players experienced symptoms but came out negative on examination, and the Suns had to make some preparations for the game using a zoom. In the game, remember, Phoenix was 57:27 behind in the first half.

The exposure led to criticism of the league’s corona policy. All players are required to be tested only if they experience symptoms, and Phoenix declined to comment for details.
