Chennai: In Tamil Nadu today, a total of 249 people, including 137 men and 112 women, were affected by the corona infection. A maximum of 124 people have been infected in Chennai. As a result, the number of victims in Tamil Nadu has increased to 34 lakh 57,382.
So far 34 lakh 18,025 people have recovered. Today alone 148 people recovered and went home. There are 1,332 people in treatment across Tamil Nadu. No casualties today. In Tamil Nadu, the incidence of corona infection was 217 yesterday and 111 in Chennai.
Earlier this morning, the Central Health Department said that 8,582 new cases of corona had been reported in India. 44,513 people are being treated for infections. 4,435 people are reported to have recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours. A total of 195.07 crore vaccine doses have been reported in the country.
