Kolkata: The Indian team has qualified for the Asian Cup football series for the 2nd time in a row.

The Indian team, which finished 2nd in Group D yesterday, also qualified for the Asian Cup series due to the exit of the Philippines. The Indian team has qualified ahead of its last league match. This is the first time in a row that the Indian team has qualified for the Asian Cup football series. Overall, the Indian team has qualified for the Asian Cup for the 5th time. The Indian team also played in the Asian Cup series in 1964, 1984, 2011 and 2019.
