India beat South Africa by 82 runs in the decisive fourth match of the T20 series. Chasing India’s target of 170, South Africa were bowled out for 87 in 16.5 overs. India won the toss and elected to field.

Avesh Khan, who took four wickets for just 18 runs in four overs, was instrumental in the match. With the second win, India beat South Africa (2-2) in a five-match series. South Africa won the first two matches of the series.

Wander Dasan is South Africa’s top scorer with 20 runs. Apart from Dasan, only De Kok (14) and Marco Johnson (12) have scored two runs in the South African innings. Yusvendra Chahal took two wickets for India.

India lost the toss and opted to bat, scoring 169 for six in the allotted 20 overs. Dinesh Karthik was India’s top scorer with 55 off 27 balls. Hardik Pandya scored 46 off 31 balls.

Ishant Kishan (27 off 26 balls) and Rishabh Pant (17 off 23 balls) were the other run scorers. Lungi Ngiti Pretorius took two wickets for South Africa.
