AIADMK General Committee preparations are in full swing following the court order.
AIADMK general body meeting is scheduled to be held tomorrow at the wedding hall in Vanakaram. In this case, the court ruled that the ban could not be imposed, as the case was still pending in court seeking a stay of the general assembly.
Following this, the preparations for the General Assembly have gained momentum. The front of the hall where the General Assembly is to be held is as historic as the presence of the late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in front of Parliament General Committee Pictures of the meeting are engraved with pictures of EPS – OPS and a welcome banner is placed.
At present, the work of placing banners is in full swing following the court verdict. It has also been reported that a banner has been put up in the front area like the parliament to face the parliamentary elections.
Meanwhile, speaking on the court order, EPS counsel said that the court had not imposed any conditions on the AIADMK general body.
Former ministers Senkottayan, Pollachi Jayaraman and Vijayabaskar, who came out of their Edappadi residence on Greenways Road in Chennai after the verdict in the High Court, met reporters jointly. Speaking on the court verdict, AIADMK senior leader Senkottayan said that Dharma’s livelihood is gambling and today Dharma has won.
He further added that the General Assembly has the power to decide on the decisions of the General Assembly.
