Many housewives use the dishwasher or the “dishwasher” to wash kitchen utensils, including plates, knives, spoons and other kitchen necessities, but health experts have warned against exposing some items under any circumstances.
In a video clip posted on social media, experts explained what to do and what not to do for dishwashers, in addition to the things in your kitchen that can damage the device, according to the British newspaper, The Sun.

The first of those elements are the dishes or plates that were previously broken and decided to stick them together later, warning that they may be at risk of breaking again inside the device.
sharp knives
The second prohibited item in dishwashers is sharp kitchen knives, which they say can cause them to rust.
wooden cutting boards
Next up comes wood cutting boards, as the fibers in wood cutting boards will cause the board to stretch and crack.
They added that after just one cycle it will become uneven and unstable.

Finally, cups with measurement marks, such as blender bowls for example, should not be placed, because the printed measurement marks will erase over time and disappear.
