Barcelona are trying to sign Robert Lewandowski as soon as possible. The striker has already signed for two years plus an option for another season, but in the meantime Bayern Munich insists he will stay and did not respond to the Catalans’ latest offer. As for the star, if the German champions’ refusal continues, he is ready to act again and speak publicly, with Barça convinced that Bayern will eventually succumb to pressure.
The countdown to the Polish signing has begun for Barça, who hope Bandowski will do the pre-season with them. The striker for his part has a plan and he made it clear to Bayern Munich that he will not appear for pre-season training, while he continues to plead with the team to negotiate him and sell him to Xavi’s team.
Lewandowski and Bayern heads recently spoke in Mallorca and the Pole made it clear that for him there is no going back, as he continues to seek a solution. If the Bavarians continue their insistence that the star will continue one hundred percent until the end of his contract, a ‘war’ is expected between the parties, something that Barça and the striker prefer to avoid. Another and final offer is expected to be submitted next week and the Catalans hope there will be agreements. Was and is not – Lewandowski is willing to apply pressure that looks like no other.
