London: Free admission for Ukrainian refugees to watch Wimbledon matches The All England Loan Tennis Club has announced that Wimbledon will provide 250,000 for victims of the Russian occupation.
Wimbledon has banned Russian and Belarusian players from the tournament following Russia’s occupation of Ukraine. This was followed by the decision to provide free Wimbledon tickets to Ukrainian refugees.
When it comes to the game, the question of whether Serena Williams will reach her 24th Grand Slam comes up again at Wimbledon. Fans are also watching to see if Rafael Nadal will make it to the career slam. The first round matches will start on June 27.
