Taganrog filed a case after poisoning children in a water park

In Taganrog, Rostov Region, a case was initiated on the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements (part 1 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) on the fact of poisoning children in a water park. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Directorate of the ICR for the region.

As Kommersant previously reported, on September 26, six children, after visiting the Nautilus water park, complained of a deterioration in their health: vomiting, dizziness, watery eyes, nausea. Two of them were hospitalized with signs of chlorine poisoning. “Investigators and criminologists of the Investigation Department carried out an inspection of the scene, during which, with the participation of Rospotrebnadzor specialists, air and water samples were taken, and flushes were made from the surface of various parts of the premises for expert research. Also, documents related to the activities of the cultural and recreational complex were seized, ”the press service said.

According to the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor, at the water surface, the maximum permissible concentration of chlorine was exceeded 1.6 times.
