During the 4th day of the India-England match, the racist attack on the Indian fans in the stadium has caused a shock.

The 5th and final Test between India and England, which was postponed last year due to the threat of Corona, began on the 1st at the Birmingham Stadium in the city of Edgbaston. Batting first, the Indian team scored 416 runs for the loss of all wickets in their first innings. Following this, the England team started the first innings and added 284 runs after losing all the wickets. With a lead of 132 runs, the Indian team lost all wickets in their 2nd innings and scored only 245 runs. After this, the England team scored 259 runs for the loss of 3 wickets at the end of the 4th day. On the 5th day, England reached the target without losing any wicket. Root (142) and Bairstow (114) both scored centuries. England won by 7 wickets to level the 5-match Test series 2-2.

In this case, during the 4th day of the match, the racist attack on the Indian fans in the stadium has come to light. Some England fans continued to racially abuse the Indian fans sitting in block 22 at the Edgbaston stadium where the match was held. The Indian fans then went to the stadium staff and complained. But, without taking any action in this regard, they have appeased the Indian fans and asked them to sit back in their seats.

Dissatisfied with this, Indian fans posted an explanation on Twitter. Only then did the matter come to light. Following this, the England Cricket Board has assured that appropriate action will be taken after investigating the allegation of racism.
