The site of German newspaper Die Welt has been blocked in Russia, having been added to the growing list of sites banned by media constable Roskomnadzor, Russian agencies said on Sunday.
This blocking took place following a request from the prosecution, specifies this source.
The site no longer opened on telephones and computers, found AFP journalists in Russia.
Since the beginning of the Russian offensive in Ukraine, the German newspaper had begun to publish content in Russian, while most independent information was suppressed in Russia.
