Thiruvananthapuram ∙ LDF convener EP Jayarajan hit back for pushing Youth Congress workers who protested against the Chief Minister on the plane. The court ordered to register a case against Jayarajan in the incident. The court also directed to register an FIR against the Chief Minister’s personal staff. The petitioners demanded that the case be registered under the sections of culpable homicide, attempt to murder and criminal conspiracy. Considering this, Thiruvananthapuram 1st Class Judicial Magistrate Leni Thomas instructed Valiyathura Police to file a case.

EP Jayarajan, Chief Minister’s personal staff members Anil Kumar, Suneesh V.M. FIR will be registered against Farzeen Majeed and RK Naveen Kumar, natives of Kannur, approached the court demanding a case against Jayarajan and the Chief Minister’s staff. According to the petition, EP Jayarajan beat up those who protested on the plane. It is also pointed out in the petition that the court is being approached because no action has been taken despite filing a complaint with the police.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan rejected the opposition’s demand to file a case against EP Jayarajan the other day. His stand was that no case would be filed against those who stopped the assailants from attacking the Chief Minister. Opposition leader V.D. Chief Minister said:

Congressmen were said to have been attacked days after the incident. One of them is accused in 19 cases. Don’t lump them together. This is not the first time an assassination attempt has been made against him. A gun is pointed at Mambarathu. Ex parte judgment was made by Indigo Airlines. The investigation revealed that the Youth Congress leaders planned to conduct such an incident on the plane in a very planned manner. The violence was planned using the official WhatsApp group of the Youth Congress.

‘The Chief Minister is coming in the Kannur-Thiruvananthapuram flight. The state office bearer of the Youth Congress, who is also a former MLA, said that if two people boarded the plane and showed the black flag, they would not be allowed out of the plane anyway and organized a sponsor to give tickets worth Rs 13,000 for the three people. The assailants boarded the plane with the aim of committing violence by fooling all the security systems. The Chief Minister said that only because Jayarajan, Gunman and others stopped the attackers, other untoward incidents did not take place.
