The adventurous swim of three youths to catch a log flowing through Kakatat in high tide has gone viral on social media. The sight of them swimming for a kilometer sitting on top of a driftwood log will amaze anyone. After the attempt to reach the shore failed, the three abandoned the log and swam to the shore.

The incident happened on Monday afternoon. The adventure of a three-member team consisting of Rahul Santhosh, Nikhil Biju and Vipin Sunny, natives of Kotamanpara, from the Kottamanpara ground padikal through the Kakatat that flows on both sides.

The journey was sitting on top of a log for a distance of about one kilometer till near Urumpini Falls. As the wood could not be brought close to the shore, the three jumped on the horse and swam to the shore.

Their friend Arjun recorded the video on his mobile phone. After being shared on social media, the video became a hit. At the time of editing, the song from the movie ‘Naran’ was also included. The video has already been viewed by tens of thousands of people. As the prank went viral in various groups, the trio received an outpouring of congratulations.

Once the monsoons begin, catching the logs that drift through the stream is the main pastime of the youth of the region. Swimming is a good side for most people. Young people even come from neighboring areas for this purpose.
