Thiruvananthapuram – Anas Hajaz, who died in a car accident during his skating trip to Kashmir, is mourned by his hometown. Thousands came to have a last look at the body of Anas, which was put on public display at the Venjaramoodu Mamoodu Stadium.

Anas died after being hit by a tanker lorry in Pinchor, Haryana. Anas’ body was brought from Haryana to his home in Venjaramood, Pullampara on Friday afternoon. On May 29, Anas left Kanyakumari to Kashmir on a skating board.

Anas was killed when a tanker lorry hit him near Pingchor police station in Haryana when he was only a few days away from reaching his destination. 31-year-old Anas Hajaz is the son of Koonan Vengail Aliyar, a native of Venjaramood Pullampara Anchamkal.
