Beirut: Lebanon is located in Western Asia. There is a severe economic crisis in the country due to issues such as the Corona epidemic and the war in Ukraine. Due to this, people are prohibited from withdrawing money from bank accounts.

In this context, Alshek Hussein (40) entered the bank in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon yesterday with a gun. He captured 10 people including bank employees. He warned that the Rs 1.60 crore invested in his bank account should be released immediately.

“I lost my job due to economic crisis. I need money for my father’s medical expenses. Give me the money in my bank account,” he pleaded with the bank officials. But the bank officials waved their hands.

A video of the footage went viral on social media and people thronged the bank and chanted in support of him. Lebanese police raided the bank yesterday and arrested Alshek.
