With the ARD “crime scene” you can reach an audience of millions. Almila Bagriacik wants to use this popularity to break down prejudices.

Osnabrück / Berlin.

The actress Almila Bagriacik has been an investigator at the “Tatort” in Kiel since 2018 – and wants to remain so for a long time. “I would like to grow old with the “Tatort”.

I think it’s nice to develop a role over a very long time and later to hear people say: Sahin, that was a really cool pig,” said Bagriacik of the “Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung” (NOZ). The 32-year-old plays at the side of Axel Milberg the investigator Mila Sahin.

She also appreciates the ARD Sunday thriller “because with it I can probably reach people who are afraid of strangers with an audience of ten million. And I want to reach them and take away their fears”.

Bagriacik moved to Berlin with her parents from Turkey at the age of five. She used to feel attacked by questions about her origins, she said. “But I would like to get out of this attitude and I don’t want everything to get a racist tone if it arises out of positive interest, because it doesn’t actually serve the fight against xenophobia.” (dpa)
