North Korea has recently declared that it has completely eradicated the corona virus, and earlier this week, some people were diagnosed with the flu in parts of the Yangon province along the Chinese border.
Immediately, the authorities imposed strict restrictions in some parts of the Yangon province bordering the Chinese border and imposed a curfew. This action was taken after 4 people were newly diagnosed with fever there.
In this case, the test results of the government have revealed that the victims have normal ‘blue’ fever and not corona virus.
This is attributed to the lack of sufficient number of corona testing centers in North Korea. After this, the government announced that the curfew has been lifted.
Omicron started spreading in North Korea last May and caused great damage. According to the information provided by the government in North Korea, 4.8 million people were affected by the flu and 74 people died.
It is noteworthy that the country has accused that the corona virus is spreading in their country due to the balloons flying from South Korea.
