BOLZANO. Matteo Berrettini, Jannik Sinner, Lorenzo Sonego, Fabio Fognini and Lorenzo Musetti are the five players that the Italian coach, Filippo Volandri, convened in view of the Davis Cup Finals, scheduled from 25 November with the group stage (Italy will be on stage at the Pala Alpitour in Turin, the other locations are Innsbruck and Madrid) until 28 November, with the quarter-finals starting the following day.
For Sinner and Musetti it is the first call.
Italy was drawn into group E in the company of United States and Colombia and the calendar provides for the Azzurri debut on Friday 26 against the US team.
On Saturday 27th the match against Colombia, then on Sunday the group of Italy will be completed with the match between the USA and Colombia.
The meetings provide two singular (the number 2 and number 1 of the nations challenge each other) e twice. The winner of group E will face the first of group D, which includes Australia, Croatia and Hungary, in the quarter-finals on Monday 29 November, again in Turin.
