According to reports in a South Korean newspaper, Samsung is one of the companies in the country that recently tried to obtain a license from financial authorities to operate a crypto exchange in the country. According to the report, Samsung’s plans to launch its own virtual currency will be in the first half of 2023. At this point, the company is using Samsung Securities Co., LTD, a financial services company of the Samsung Group, to acquire the appropriate financial licenses for the move.
