The Turkish destroyer TCG Kemalreis (F-247) docked this morning (Saturday) in the port of Haifa, as part of a NATO exercise, it was reported in the country’s media.

The Turkish warship is expected to dock in Israel in the coming days, during which it will “refuel and demonstrate its presence”. As part of the normalization of relations, the countries will return the ambassadors and consuls general in both countries. Also, Israeli flights to Turkey will resume operations.
