Hours after the G7 countries agreed to set a price ceiling for Russian crude oil, Russia announced it would shut down a gas pipeline to Germany.
The Nord Stream One gas pipeline, which runs from Russia through the Baltic Sea to Germany, was initially shut down for three days for maintenance reasons, but Russia has now announced that it will be closed indefinitely due to the oil spill.
