The shooting of Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush has been completed. The film is currently in its post-production stage. Directed by Om Rout, the film is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Retrofils and has been made on a budget of Rs 300 crore.
Actor Saif Ali Khan will play the role of Ravana in the film, a cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana. The name of the character will be Lankesh. Even before the release, the theatrical rights of the movie were sold for a huge amount. Prabhas will play Raghava in the film. Kriti Sanon will play Janaki and Sunny Singh will play Laxman.
High VFX effects have been prepared for Adipurush. It is also said that the film will be released on the coming Sankranti. Now it is reported that the leading production house UV Creations has acquired the Telugu theatrical rights of the film for Rs 100 crore.
