One of the segments of the International Space Station – the Russian Prichal node module – received its own emblem. It was created on a combination of the manufacturer’s logos, corporate red edging and state symbols.
The designers note that the emblem of the “Pitch” module is created in a unique pentagonal shape.
“This is due to the fact that the module has five passive docking nodes for docking of manned and cargo ships, as well as for the possible expansion of the configuration of the Russian segment,” the annotation to the figure says.
The image of the new ISS element is located in the center of the emblem with accompanying attributes, as well as the state flag of Russia and its own name – “Prichal”. Two stars in the left corner of the regular pentagon symbolize the new Russian modules “Science” and “Prichal”, and two large stars in the right corner – the functional cargo block “Zarya” and the service module “Zvezda”. The smaller stars next to them are the Dawn and Search small research modules.
In accordance with the fundamental principle of cosmonautics – the principle of duplication – the main “participants” of the mission are placed along the perimeter of the emblem: the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle, the Progress M-UM transport cargo module and the new Pryhal nodal module.
Recall that the launch of a rocket with a new module to the ISS is scheduled for November 24, 2021.

Faleristas note that the emblem of the “Prichal” module graphically echoes the logos of the world festivals youth and students, which took place in Moscow in 1957 and 1985. For example, the five semicircles of the Mooring module resemble a festival “chamomile” with five continents: Africa, America, Antarctica, Australia and Eurasia.
