In Northern Ireland, ink leaked from the pens used by King Charles while signing the visitor’s book at Hillsborough Palace.
Angered by the ink on his fingers, King Charles remarked that he hated the pen. Meanwhile, King Charles, who had arrived in Cardiff, was presented with a pen by one of the crowd.
King Charles, initially confused, then smiled understandingly and eagerly bought the pen. Immediately, the crowd cheered the King with applause.
