New Delhi: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has been hailed as the ‘Father of the Nation’ by All India Imam Organization President Omar Ahmed Ilyasi.
The All India Imam Organization is an organization for Islamic scholars in India. The All India Imam Organization is considered to be the largest organization of Imams in the world. Accepting the invitation of the organization’s president, Umar Ahmed Ilyasi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat visited the mosque in Delhi where the organization operates.
Along with him, RSS joint general secretary Krishna Gopal, BJP’s former organizing secretary Ram Lal, Muslim Rashtriya Manch patron Inderesh Kumar and others went to the mosque. It is said that the two sides held a discussion in the mosque for about an hour without allowing outsiders.
Speaking about the meeting later, Umar Ahmed Ilyasi said, “It is a great pleasure that RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat accepted our invitation and visited the office of the All India Imam Organization. He is the father of our country. As per my request, he visited the Tajveedul Quran Madrasah. He interacted with the students studying there. . Then Mohan Bhagwat said that our genes are the same and the method of worshiping God is different.”
Commenting on the meeting, Suhaib Ilyasi, brother of Umar Ahmed Ilyasi, said, “It is a great honor to have RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat visit us on our father’s anniversary; This is good news for the country,” he said.
Mohan Bhagwat recently held consultations with Islamic scholars to promote religious harmony in the country. In this advisory meeting, former Chief Election Commissioner S.Y. Qureshi, Aligarh Muslim University Mannal President Jameer Uddin Shah, former Member of Parliament Shahid Siddiqui, businessman Saeed Sherwani and others were also present.
