A passenger was injured when a plane was fired from the ground in mid-air in Myanmar. The Myanmar National Airlines flight was on its way to Loikaw with 63 passengers on board.
A 27-year-old male passenger was injured when the plane was flying at an altitude of about 3,500 feet when a bullet ricocheted off the plane.
In this case, the Myanmar Military Council has accused the rebel forces of the Karenni National Progressive Party and the People’s Defense Force of firing incense on the plane.
The Karenni National Progressive Party denied this and explained that they never target the public.
