Kyiv: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, among others, has taken a stand against Tesla CEO Elon Musk after voting on Twitter to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Apart from Zelenskiy, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nowseda also came out against Musk. They were angered when Musk said that a referendum would be held under the supervision of the United Nations in the four regions of Ukraine controlled by Russia, and if the result was in favor of Ukraine, Russia would withdraw.

Musk also asked people to vote ‘yes’ or ‘no’ on his idea on Twitter. Musk tweeted that people living in Donbass and Crimea should be asked whether they want to be part of Russia or part of Ukraine and conduct a poll.
But Musk’s proposal faced a lot of criticism. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s sarcasm was to comment on whether he prefers Musk who supports Ukraine or Musk who supports Russia. Lithuanian President Gitanas Nowseda also came to the scene in response to Musk.

His opinion is for the people of Ukraine. Ukraine will never win the war. Hundreds of thousands of people are likely to die needlessly. Musk also tweeted that if he is aware of the people of Ukraine, he should ensure peace.
