Supportive care is better known than integrative medicine: what is the difference between the two?
Medicine is the body of knowledge used to prevent, relieve and cure diseases and infirmities. Integrative medicine – or integrative health – also includes supportive care: non-drug therapeutic interventions, intended to improve the quality of life and the management of the side effects of treatments (physiotherapy, sophrology, nutrition, adapted physical activity, etc.).
