The management of the company highlights its goodwill, and the annual salary negotiations scheduled for next January.

It is a dialogue of the deaf which is blocking the launch of negotiations likely to put an end to the conflict. The management of TotalEnergies emphasizes, once again, “be ready to negotiate as soon as the blockages end”. At the CGT, we ensure that we are ready to negotiate, but on the opposite condition. “It is out of the question to do so by stopping the strike”insists Thierry Defresne, CGT secretary of the social and economic committee (CSE) of the group.

The two parties do not agree on the words. When the CGT evokes the right to strike, the management of the tanker points to the blockages of refineries and depots. And to emphasize that, if the refinery of Dunkirk (North) and the bio-refinery of La Mède (Bouches-du-Rhône) are indeed paralyzed by a strike, the deposits of Feyzin, near Lyon, of Grandpuits, in Île- de-France, and La Mède are purely and simply blocked.
