DECRYPTION – The operators, who are highly specialized, have advanced skills and are not easily replaceable.

Two requisitions on Wednesday, two more on Thursday, and the Port Jérôme refinery resumed delivering its precious fuel. In hollow, the very low number of requisitions to unblock the situation on the Normandy site of Esso-ExxonMobil shows that very few strikers are enough to block this strategic production for the proper functioning of the French economy.

The site has colossal storage, which was full. The government therefore wanted to use them to supply the nearby depot, which was empty.
